{"id":34162,"date":"2025-09-18T17:58:15","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T14:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/room8studio.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=34162"},"modified":"2025-09-18T17:58:16","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T14:58:16","slug":"our-work-on-shadowveil-legend-of-the-five-rings","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/room8studio.com\/news\/our-work-on-shadowveil-legend-of-the-five-rings\/","title":{"rendered":"Our work on Shadowveil: Legend of the Five Rings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In March 2025, our partners <a href=\"https:\/\/reindeer-drum-fne9.squarespace.com\/\">Palindrome Interactive<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amplifiergameinvest.com\/\">Amplifier Studios<\/a> released <a href=\"https:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/app\/2536960\">Shadowveil: Legends of the Five Rings<\/a>\u2014a visually novel, feudal-Japan-inspired auto-battler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our mission was to deliver the first-ever video game based on a 30-year-old fantasy franchise, Legend of the Five Rings (L5R). We had to do justice to a beloved universe with a dedicated fanbase\u2014something we\u2019d done before, but not with L5R.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shadowveil\u2019s painterly style demanded a fine touch across both engineering and creative tasks.
